Product Details

BC Racing BR Series Coilovers for the 2009-2020 Nissan 370Z (Z34) are BC Racing's entry-level coilover and the most popular kit in their entire lineup — they offer the most accessible entry into adjustable coilover suspension without sacrificing performance, comfort, build quality, or handling. Every kit is extensively tested on the 370Z Z34 chassis and refined until it balances ride quality with performance — the reason 370Z coilovers from BC Racing are the best-selling adjustable kits in their segment worldwide.

Every BR Series kit is built around a mono-tube damper with simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment at every corner — a wide damping range without the complexity of a race-only setup. Ride height is fully adjustable independent of spring preload, so you set the stance and the ride separately. The off-the-shelf setup from BC Racing is deliberately balanced — spring rates and valving chosen so the kit feels comfortable day-to-day without giving up performance when you push it. Drivers who want a different recipe can spec Swift Springs, custom spring rates, or fully custom valving at checkout; BC will tune the dampers to match, which is a depth of customization most brands only offer on their top-tier kits.

BC Racing's reputation in the aftermarket suspension world is built on four things: competitive pricing that beats the rest of the fully-adjustable market, customization depth that rivals the top-tier race brands, long-term reliability earned over 20 years of production, and a rebuildable design that keeps the same set of dampers serving you through multiple builds. These 370Z coilovers arrive tuned for the Z34 chassis and ready to bolt in — no break-in period, no guessing at setup. Every kit ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty, lifetime access to BC service parts (pistons, seals, shafts — no unit replacement required when it's time for a rebuild), and in-house tech support from both BC Racing and the Springrates team.

    Definitely get them

At 110,000 miles, it was time to replace the OEM shocks and struts on my 2009 370z Touring (w/Sport package). The price point of the BC Racing coilovers caught my attention and after checking out the positive reviews on YouTube I went ahead and ordered the "true coilover" version. Installation was not bad, it only took 2 hours with help from my brother who is a certified mechanic (see my note below).Once it was done my Z looked slammed even at the highest height setting! Not only did my car look 10x better, but the handling and response was noticeable almost immediately (but then again I had worn struts). Definitely get these coilovers - I highly recommend them!!! NOTE: The regular version of these coilovers are the same price but are less adjustable than the "true coilovers" since they do not replace the OEM lower control arms which houses the rear springs. Just know going forward that if you go with the "true coilovers" that you also budget-in a set of aftermarket lower control arms and tension rods as well since you're going to loose those.

    Good coilover

They’re good budget-friendly coilovers. I was able to lower my 370Z a lot and it rides good too.

    Great

I recommend these if you have a 370Z that’s primarily street-driven. I occasionally take mine to the track and these BCs still perform amazing. Great all-around coil over!

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How much will BC Coilovers lower my car?

On average, Standard Drop allows about 1-2 inches of drop range below factory ride height. Extreme Low allows about 2-3 inches of drop.

Can BC Coilovers achieve factory ride height?

No. In most cases, factory ride height cannot be achieved.

What is a custom build vs off-the-shelf kit?

The stock level displayed on our website reflects the availability of standard “off-the-shelf” kits, unless noted otherwise in the product description. Selecting any custom options—such as Extreme Low, custom spring rates, Swift Spring upgrades, or top mount changes—will result in a custom-built kit. Please note: all series except the BR Series are built to order, with the exception of select popular DS Series kits that may be in stock. Also, some popular Extreme Low kits are in stock as well. To identify these, look for "Extreme Low" in the product title.

Will the struts be valved correctly?

Yes! The shocks and/or struts are always valved to match the spring rates you choose during a custom build. There is no additional cost.

Can they be rebuilt?

Yes, all BC Racing Coilovers can be rebuilt by purchasing individual replacement parts. For example, if a strut leaks, you can simply replace the shock cartridge.

Is there rush shipping available?

Rush shipping is not offered, but all in-stock kits ship very fast— most by the next day.

Customizing the coilovers in any way will delay the shipment by a few weeks on average.
