Infiniti G35 BC Racing Coilovers
Built for the Platform That Earned the Reputation
BC Racing coilovers for the Infiniti G35 are one of the most popular suspension upgrades for the V35 platform, offering adjustable ride height, damping control, and proven performance for street, drift, and track builds. Designed specifically for the Infiniti G35 chassis, BC Racing coilovers improve handling response, reduce body roll, and give owners the ability to properly dial in stance and suspension feel without sacrificing everyday drivability.
The Infiniti G35 arrived on the V35 platform with genuine rear-wheel-drive sports-car credentials and a VQ35 engine that enthusiasts have been building around ever since. It also shares that platform with the Nissan 350Z, which means the G35 coilover market is deep, competitive, and well-supported. BC Racing G35 coilovers sit at the centre of that market: tested specifically on the platform, available across multiple series, and built with the kind of detail that makes the difference between a coilover that fits and one that actually works.
What Makes BC Racing Coilovers G35 the Right Choice
The G35 coupe and sedan are distinct fitments, and that distinction matters. Both are covered at Springrates, including the True Rear coilover configuration. On the G35, the factory rear suspension uses a divorced spring-and-shock arrangement rather than a conventional coilover setup. The True Rear option replaces this entirely with a full coilover unit, giving you proper spring-rate control, improved rear-chassis response, and a cleaner overall setup that the standard configuration cannot match.
All G35 BC coilovers use a 53mm monotube damper body with high-quality damping oil that maintains consistent performance across a wide temperature range, whether that comes from climate or aggressive driving. Height adjustment is independent of spring preload, thanks to BC Racing's patented concave lower locking ring, which retains full suspension travel at any ride height you choose. The standard drop on BC Racing G35 coilovers delivers approximately 1 to 2 inches below factory ride height, with the Extreme Low option extending that to 2 to 3 inches for drivers seeking a more aggressive stance.
Three Series, One Platform - Choosing Your BC G35 Coilovers
BC Racing G35 coilovers are available in the BR, DS, and ER Series. The BR Series provides 30-way simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment with carefully chosen spring rates that avoid the oversprung feel common in competing products, making it the strongest all-round starting point for daily driving and occasional track use. The DS Series adds digressive piston valving for sharper low-speed damping and better body control through weight transfers, suited to drivers who track the G35 regularly and want more precision from the platform. The ER Series provides independent compression and rebound adjustment via external reservoirs at all four corners, giving active track drivers session-by-session tuning control without the limitations of a single dial.
One practical note specific to the G35: the rear strut tops are enclosed rather than accessible in the boot as on many other cars. On BR and DS Series kits, this means adjusting rear damping requires removal. On the ER Series, external reservoir placement allows easier trackside access. An alignment is required after installation on any series.
At Springrates, we have been an authorised BC Racing retailer since 2005. If you need help deciding between the coupe and sedan fitment, the True Rear option, or which series suits your build, reach out and we will get on the right track.
