- Vehicle Fitment
BC Racing BR Series Coilovers for the 2014-2019 BMW i3 RWD (I01) offer the most affordable entry into coilover suspension without sacrificing performance, comfort, build quality, vehicle height, or handling. This is done by extensively testing each vehicle, then refining the coilover characteristics as many times as needed to ensure the most well-balanced and affordable aftermarket suspension conceivable.
BC Racing takes great pride in choosing spring rates for our off-the-shelf kits that strike the perfect balance between comfort and performance so you're never stuck with an oversprung suspension like many other brands sell. BC Racing offers one of the widest ranges of damping adjustment with 30-clicks of compression/rebound adjusted simultaneously on the BR Series.
With meticulously chosen spring rates, damper valving, and one of the widest adjustment ranges in the industry, you can't go wrong with the BC Racing BR Series Coilover System. BC Racing BR Series is the most popular coilover option from BC Racing.

Questions & AnswersAsk a Question
do these work with the range extended model of the i3? The answer below didnt answer the question.
The kit has not been tested with the Range Extended model. Therefore we cannot confirm fitment.
I have a 2014 BMW i3 (BEV). I am looking for reduced body roll while maintaining factory ride quality. I am currently on H&R lowering springs, and although the body roll is reduced, the ride quality has suffered to the point where my wife wont drive it. Can you tell me what i can expect from this product?
Aftermarket coilovers are always going to ride stiffer than factory and have slightly more noise. However, we recommend upgrading to the Swift Springs which will not only improve the handling of the car but also ride smoother. This will be your best bet to try and improve performance but maintain a better ride.
What is the range that this kit can lower my i3?
They average a range of about 1-3 inches of drop from factory ride height.
Are these coilovers for the i3 with or without the REX (range extender)? Thanks.
The kit has not been tested with this model.
