Description

BC Racing DS Series Coilovers for the 2000-2005 Toyota MR2 Spyder (ZZW30) use a new proprietary digressive piston design that offers increased damping force at low piston velocities while maintaining a linear damper feel at higher piston velocities.

One of the greatest advantages of increased low-speed damping force relates to what the driver feels, e.g. roll, pitch, dive, and quick weight transitions on technical road courses.

For the ultimate in driver feel, choose the BC Racing DS Series Coilover System. BC Racing DS Coilovers are the most popular track coilover from BC Racing.

Features:

  • Highly customizable
  • Mono-tube shock design
  • Digressive piston and damping curve
  • Satin chrome finished shock body
  • Height adjustment independent of spring compression
  • 30-clicks of simultaneous compression/rebound adjustment
  • Front camber plates standard on applicable kits
  • Rear camber plates available for applicable kits
  • Custom spring rates and Swift Springs available
  • Custom valving or valving paired for custom spring rates

Super quick shipping, great communication, and great product.

Springrates was SUPER quick getting these out. Thank you! These coilovers fit the MR2 absolutely perfectly. They also came in well adjusted to install and go as a baseline. The spring height and preload were good, setting the car up with a near perfect stance for handling out of the box (in terms of resting suspension geometry - the ball joints were just below horizontal with the lca inner pivot points). We will check corner balance after the alignment is complete. The ride is definitely considerably stiffer than stock, but with damping dialed in, the handling has been transformed and the car is still quite comfortable. Get that wrong though and you either get big spring bounce or rock hard compression damping - but that's expected!
