BC Racing DS Series — Digressive Damping for Sharper Control
The BC Racing DS Series takes the proven BR Series platform and adds digressive piston valving, delivering firmer low-speed damping with a smoother high-speed response. The result is sharper steering, better weight transfer, and more chassis feedback, which makes the DS Series the right choice for drivers who want precision on the street and confidence on track.
What Digressive Valving Changes
Digressive valving provides more damping force at low shaft speeds and less at high speeds. In practice that means the car resists body roll, dive, and squat during your inputs, so it feels tied down and responsive, while still absorbing sharp bumps and curbs without harshness. Combined with 30-way combined compression and rebound adjustment and fully threaded shock bodies, the DS Series lets you fine-tune both the ride height and the exact feel of the car.
DS Series vs BR Series
The BR Series is the streetable all-rounder and the most popular starting point. The DS Series steps up specifically in low-speed damping control, giving drivers who track regularly or want maximum precision a sharper, more connected feel. Both share the same monotube construction, rebuildable design, and no-cost custom spring rate options, so choosing between them comes down to how aggressively you drive.
